The venerable culture of Mahdism and its valuable teachings have the capability to influence different aspects of life and can potentially fulfil the needs of humankind in every field. It is therefore incumbent upon the intelligentsia and researchers to theorize about the subject of Mahdism and exemplify its virtues.
Howzah, university thinkers and scholars are cordially invited to share with us their explicatory suppositions and deductions regarding the mores of Mahdism and its benefits, through their analytical articles.
The conference welcomes scientific research, which analyzes the culture of Mahdism in correspondence with the era of social and human sciences, other religions, and civilizations.
Papers are invited for:
A- Semantics and Methodology
1. Mahdism and theorizing on politics field (foundation, potentiality, features and …)
2. Methodology in legal and political issues of Mahdism (discourse, hermeneutics, positivistic, descriptive and …)
3. Comparative evaluation of political and legal concepts in contemporary thought and in Mahdism (right and responsibility, justice, power, legitimacy, freedom and …)
B- Theoretical issues:
1. Mahdism utopia (basics, features, capacities, comparative assessment and ….)
2. Mahdism and teleology in west political thought (contemporary political and social theories, western intelligentsias point of view and …)
3. Mahdism and teleology from an Islamic perspective
4. Comparative assessment of Mahdism government with contemporary models of government.
5. Mahdism and humans rights (humans’ dignity, the right of destiny defining, rights of minorities, rights of women and …)
6. Mahdism and globalization.
C- Government and Islamic society in the era of occultation
1. 20-years plan for I.R of Iran in the light of Mahdism teaching.
2. The role of Mahdism in 20- years plan for I.R of Iran (predictions, capacities, vacuums, and …)
3. The government which paves the way for reappearance (purposes, features, benefits and …)
4. Societal anticipation of the reappearance (assessment of political, social, and cultural conditions of performance of reappearance, criteria, benefits, and …)
5. Political cognition of false claimers to Mahdism in the era of occultation (purposes, performance, influences and …)
6. Political and social pathology of Mahdaviat anticipation (pests, slippers and …)
7. The academic role of Mahdaviat anticipation in formation of Islamic movements and contemporary political systems.
8. National media and awaiting culture (plans, performance, capacities, and …)
D- Government and Islamic society in the age of reappearance
1. Foundations and purposes of Imam Mahdi global government.
2. Structure of Imam Mahdi government.
3. Legal and political institutions in the Imam Mahdi global government (political parties, councils, regional and national foundations, treaties, and …)
4. The role of vote and public participation in Mahdism government.
5. Law and legislation in Imam Mahdi global government. (Single or plural, the role, resources, fundamentals, institutions and …)
Explanations:
1) Those interested should forward an abstract or a summary of their articles (maximum 500 words and in Microsoft Word Format) written in English, Arabic or Persian to the secretary of the Seminar for consideration by the scientiļ¬c committee of the institute preferably via E-mail by26th of June 2007.
2) Researchers whose abstracts or article summaries are accepted by the BF Institute should forward their articles written in one of the above-mentioned languages (maximum 6,000 words and in Microsoft Word Format) to the secretary of the Seminar for the final review via E-mail or in a diskette form by 26th of July 2007.
3) Articles with a closer content to proposed titles will be accepted by the scientific committee.
4) Articles should not have been published in other publications or even released to other seminars previously held in Iran. The accepted articles will be later published in a book and the rights of their authors will be acknowledged.
5) The conference will be held on August 26th and 27th, 2007 in Tehran at the auditorium of Islamic leaders’ conference.
6) The interested people should complete the registration form in the conference website and send it to the secretary of the Seminar.

8) The institute shall undertake to pay for expenses (i.e. ticket and accommodation) relating to journey to Iran for those whose articles are accepted. We do not pay visa fees.
9) In the case of acceptance an article we will require extra information (Iranian Visa application form –a copy of Passport – a photograph) from those who living abroad. (Iranian Visa application is attached)
